Traffic accident claims two lives

A Saturday traffic accident on Route V, three miles south of Senath, claimed the lives of two teenagers. According to Troop E of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 17 year old Corey Lee of Paragould, ran off the roadway and overturned. Lee and a passenger, 18 year old Tyler Ellington of Cardwell, were ejected from the vehicle. Ellington was pronounced dead at the scene by Dunklin County Coroner James Powell. Lee was taken by Air Evac to a Memphis hospital, where he died Sunday afternoon.
